Dr Simon Tso (Chair)
Dr Simon Tso is a Consultant Dermatologist at South Warwickshire University NHS Foundation Trust in Warwick, UK.
He has a broad clinical practice, with particular interests in skin cancer and chronic inflammatory skin diseases such as psoriasis, alongside a focus on making dermatology care more environmentally sustainable.
Dr Tso plays an active leadership role within the professional community. He co-founded a national dermatology sustainability initiative and currently chairs the British Association of Dermatologists’ (BAD) Sustainability Sub-Committee. He also serves as Honorary Treasurer of the BAD and is a Senior Fellow of the British College of Dermatology.
He has published extensively in his field, including research on sustainable dermatology practices, and remains actively involved in medical education and training.
Dr Marisa Taylor
Dr Marisa Taylor is a Consultant Dermatologist at Epsom & St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust in the UK, where she also serves as the department’s Biologics Lead.
She has special interests in medical education and in improving dermatologic care for patients with skin of colour. In line with these interests, Dr Taylor co-founded and leads Skin of Colour Training UK, an educational initiative that trains healthcare professionals to better diagnose and manage skin conditions in patients with skin of colour, helping to reduce health inequalities.
She remains active in professional dermatology circles, including membership in the British Association of Dermatologists, is the President of a Dermatology charity – the Dowling Club of UK and Ireland and contributes to training the next generation of healthcare professionals.
Dr Jui Vyas
Dr Jui Vyas is a Clinical Reader in Dermatology at Cardiff University’s School of Medicine, where she plays a significant role in postgraduate dermatology education and maintains an active research portfolio.
Her work focuses on clinical dermatology outcomes and patient quality of life, and she has published extensively on the use of the Dermatology Life Quality Index (DLQI) to evaluate treatment impact and care in both routine practice and clinical trials. Dr Vyas also leads several postgraduate training programmes in dermatology at Cardiff (serving as Programme Director), reflecting her commitment to dermatology education and training.
She is an active member of the British Association of Dermatologists (BAD) – including contributing to national guidelines through the BAD Guidelines and Therapeutics Sub-Committee – and engages in BAD’s educational initiatives (such as diversity training efforts). Alongside her academic and clinical duties, Dr Vyas frequently presents on medical education, health equity, and innovations in dermatology care.
